First of all, we greatly appreciate the generosity of our president for hosting FYJA in hotel Marina -Hammamet. Special thanks him for his active participation and help in the promotional campaign of the program and for dealing with all the details. It was a great privilege and honour for all to have an audience with Minister of Tourism of Tunisia. We would like to send a big thanks those countries which sent participants to the 2023 Fijet Academy for Young Journalists Tunisia Program: Croatia, Egypt, France, Morocco, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey. Many thanks to all Committee Members who contributed to big success of Academy: Sema Kutlu, Barbaros Kon (Turkey), Ludmila Novacka(Slovakia), Amelia Tomasevic(Croatia), Petra Somek(Croatia) and Gabriela Tigu(Romania).
Each summer, Fijet brings together a group of young people passionate about travel journalism and its ability to influence positive change in tourism. Attendees include early career journalists, students, media entrepreneurs with start in tourism, scholars, young leaders of travel media industry leaders. It is the interactive nature of Fijet that makes it such an exciting opportunity for attendees, especially students who come from around the world to attend. Throughout the week innovative ideas are shared and new business strategies developed. The President Tijani Haddad with Fijet Academy Committee leading by Sema Kutlu, Chairperson and all Committee members have been working on the program in order to develop it to be more beneficial for our students. The focus was on creating a hands-on, interactive, interdisciplinary experience.
The academic program includes work sessions, outdoor instruction and excursions, as an integral part the instruction with field tips organized by Fijet. This year in Tunisia with Fijet Tunisia and its partner Yawhara FM (TV and Radio).
We kindly asked all the Presidents of the Fijet National Associations to support the Fijet Academy for Young Journalists Program by sending one or two candidates to the Academy ,reminding all of you that the objective of this program is to ensure the future of Fijet.
Unfortunately, without success for many associations.

Following all reportages, posts, photos, it was obviously that all of you have been wonderful participants with so much potential and creativity. It was so good to have you all at the Academy. We wish you all the very best for your future and we appreciate your talents and support in promoting Fijet Academy.
